BOHEMIA RESTAURANT-

Bohemia is definitely one of the top restaurants in Jersey. The steak sandwich with a glass of wine is a great cheap choice for a business lunch.


GRADEES-

A local institution located in the financial district. Seafood is especially good!


GREEN OLIVE-

Specializes in vegetarian dishes, but the seafood dishes are lovely too. All beautifully presented in a fresh, modern but cozy ambience.


OLIVE BRANCH-

Good quality Italian pasta and pizza from a wood burning oven.





St Helier Nightlife

Nighclubs in St Helier are typical of small towns in the UK generally playing a 'conservative' mix of chart music though a few have 'special' theme nights.

La Cala in the centre of St Helier is popular on a Friday night.

Liquid is popular with teenagers and has occasional 'celebrity' appearances. The guy who was the first eviction on Big Brother 6 years ago 'type of celebrity' that is!

It's located on The Waterfront development an attempt by Jersey politicians to make St Helier as ugly as possible. Unusually for Jersey politicians they succeeded!

Best Business hotel-

The recently opened Radisson Waterfront Hotel is now the leading business and conference hotel in the town, though Hotel de France is also a good option.



Best Mid-Range hotel-

Apollo Hotel is walking distance to the town centre and has a decent sized pool.



Best Family Friendly hotel-

The Merton Hotel has a great water 'attraction' called the Aquadome that includes a 'wave rider' and the staff are very professional and child friendly.

St Helier is the capital town in Jersey, Channel Islands.

The Royal Square is the home to the island's parliament and law courts.

The pedestrianized King Street and Queen Street are the main shopping streets.

Nightlife is centred around the Weighbridge, Esplanade and Waterfront areas.
